Stainless Steel Bench Scraper / Dough Cutter with Ruler
The essential dough handling tool. Lifts, divides, shapes, and transfers — cleanly every time.
After bulk fermentation, when your dough is sticky, delicate, and needs to be handled with confidence, the bench scraper is the tool you reach for. Slide the blade cleanly under the dough to lift it without tearing, divide it into portions for individual loaves, and shape each piece on the bench without sticking.
Once shaped, use it to flip the dough seam-side up and transfer it into your banneton. Slide the blade underneath, support the dough in your hands, and lower it gently into the basket. The wide blade gives you full control at every step — no more dough sticking to your hands or tearing on the bench.
The ruler along the blade is useful for portioning dough by eye or checking the size of your loaf. The blade is sharp enough to cut through pastry, soft vegetables, and herbs directly on the bench. Each piece features a carved Flour & Water logo on the oak wood handle.

Glass items (starter jar, jar lid): Dishwasher safe.
Silicone items (spatula, bowl scraper): Dishwasher safe. If silicone absorbs strong odours over time, soak briefly in diluted white vinegar to neutralise.
Wooden and bamboo items (whisk, bamboo scoop): Hand wash only — do not soak or put in the dishwasher. Dry immediately after washing. Condition occasionally with food-safe fractionated coconut oil to prevent drying and cracking.
Items with wooden handles and stainless steel (bench scraper, pizza slicer): Hand wash only — the wooden handle must not go in the dishwasher. Wash with warm soapy water and dry the blade and handle immediately. Do not soak.
Stainless steel only items: Dishwasher safe. Dry promptly to avoid water spots.
Canvas and fabric items (bread bags, cloth liners): Machine washable, cold or warm cycle. Air dry only — do not tumble dry.
TPU-lined items (TPU bread bag): Machine washable, gentle cycle. Air dry only. Do not tumble dry or iron.
