Our lead time for most custom orders is short—typically around one week for starters, and four weeks for accessories—so you don’t have to wait long for your products. Large Capacity

Bulk Sourdough Starter Orders

Due to the relatively short shelf life of live sourdough starters, we currently offer only dehydrated sourdough starters for bulk orders. We’re happy to prepare any quantity of dry sourdough starter with a lead time of approximately one week. This ensures you get the freshness and quality you expect for your bakery, even when ordering in large quantities.

* We can prepare live starter in bulk, too, but only for delivery within Sydney metro area.

All products in our store, including our popular sourdough starter kits, are available for bulk orders.

While we can fulfill large orders for our handmade starter kits promptly, lead times for accessories like banneton baskets and scrapers, or bundled baker sets may vary. This is because we may need to source these items from our suppliers.

We’ll keep you informed about specific lead times and work diligently to fulfill your order as quickly as possible.

What is the lead time for large orders?

The specific timeline for your order will depend on the items included.

Dehydrated Starter:

  • Cultivation and preparation: 7-10 days
  • Drying, grinding, and packaging: Additional time required

Accessories:

  • If in stock: 3-4 days for processing and shipping
  • If out of stock: 2-8 weeks, depending on sourcing and shipping method (air or sea freight)

Is it possible to place a bulk order for live active starter?

Yes, it is possible to place a bulk order for our live active starter. However, due to the delicate nature of the product and to ensure freshness, we currently only offer bulk orders for local delivery within the Sydney metro area. This allows us to maintain the quality and viability of the starter.

I need a customised product; what are the options?

If you require a custom-sized banneton basket or other product, we can arrange a special order with our trusted supplier.
