If your order includes a LIVE SOURDOUGH STARTER, please note the following to ensure the best care for your starter:

• Feed Promptly: As soon as your starter arrives, it should be fed with fresh flour and water to avoid the risk of spoilage, especially in warmer temperatures.

• Storage for Gifts: If the starter is intended as a gift, we recommend storing it in the fridge until you're ready to pass it along.

• Feeding Recommendations: Our starters are hardy and can go without feeding for short periods. However, we recommend feeding them within 1 week of arrival, or up to 3 weeks if stored in the fridge, to ensure the highest quality and a successful bake.
