This stainless steel dough scraper/dough cutter, featuring a wooden handle, is your indispensable tool for effortlessly lifting, turning, cutting, and shaping all varieties of dough. The sharp blade effortlessly slices through soft foods such as pastry, as well as meat or vegetables.
Following bulk fermentation, transfer the dough onto your lightly floured kitchen bench for shaping. Our dough cutter ensures a mess-free handling experience, easily dividing the dough into portions that will transform into individual bread loaves. The sizable metal blade provides the flexibility to create the desired shape without sticking.
Once the shaping process is complete, smoothly transfer the dough into the bread proofing basket (banneton) with the help of our dough scraper tool. Simply slide the blade under the dough, flip it in your hands, and gently land it in the banneton.
It's important to note that the dough should land 'upside down.' After shaping the loaf, its strongest structure is on the upper, outer surface, so this side should be facing the interior of the banneton.
