Silicone Bowl Scraper for Sourdough
Your hand's best extension. The go-to tool for stretch and fold, bowl scraping, and dough handling.
If there is one tool that sourdough bakers consistently underestimate before they use it and can't live without after — it's the silicone bowl scraper. The curved flexible edge fits the contour of any bowl perfectly, scraping every last bit of dough from the sides in one clean motion. Nothing sticks to the silicone surface, which makes handling high-hydration sourdough far less messy and far more controlled.
During the stretch and fold stage, the scraper gives you a firm, dry grip on wet dough — slide it under the dough, lift and stretch, fold over. Repeat for each side. It makes the process faster and more consistent than working with bare hands alone, and keeps your hands cleaner throughout.
Use it also to clean bowls and benches between steps, scrape dough from your hands, and transfer sticky doughs without tearing. Made from BPA-free food-grade silicone that is fully flexible and built to last.

Glass items (starter jar, jar lid): Dishwasher safe.
Silicone items (spatula, bowl scraper): Dishwasher safe. If silicone absorbs strong odours over time, soak briefly in diluted white vinegar to neutralise.
Wooden and bamboo items (whisk, bamboo scoop): Hand wash only — do not soak or put in the dishwasher. Dry immediately after washing. Condition occasionally with food-safe fractionated coconut oil to prevent drying and cracking.
Items with wooden handles and stainless steel (bench scraper, pizza slicer): Hand wash only — the wooden handle must not go in the dishwasher. Wash with warm soapy water and dry the blade and handle immediately. Do not soak.
Stainless steel only items: Dishwasher safe. Dry promptly to avoid water spots.
Canvas and fabric items (bread bags, cloth liners): Machine washable, cold or warm cycle. Air dry only — do not tumble dry.
TPU-lined items (TPU bread bag): Machine washable, gentle cycle. Air dry only. Do not tumble dry or iron.
