This spatula is designed specifically for the job of feeding and maintaining a sourdough starter. The silicone head is firm enough to mix flour and water into a thick paste without bending, yet flexible enough to scrape every last bit of starter from the jar walls — nothing wasted, nothing left behind.

At 24cm it is long enough to reach the bottom of a 500ml mason jar comfortably without getting your hands messy. The stainless steel core keeps it rigid under pressure. After use, it rinses clean in seconds or goes straight in the dishwasher.

Beyond starter maintenance it works well for mixing batters, spreading, and general kitchen use. Each spatula features a printed Flour & Water logo on the handle.
